HECHT 796 Cultivator Air Filter

Description

The Gasket Genius air filter fits Hecht 796 engines, cultivators and lawnmowers. Positioned ahead of the carburettor, the air filter stops soil, dust and plant debris thrown up in quantity during cultivator work from reaching the engine, while letting clean air pass through for combustion. Once the filter media becomes clogged, airflow to the carburettor drops, pulling the fuel-air mixture rich and causing reduced power, rough running, higher fuel consumption or hard starting. Fitting a new air filter restores correct airflow to the carburettor, letting the engine draw the correct air-fuel ratio again.
