These saws use multiple <strong>AV mounts<\/strong> of different profiles at separate fixing points between the <strong>engine unit<\/strong> and the <strong>handle frame<\/strong> this is a second mount variant used on the same models, distinct in shape from the other <strong>AV mount<\/strong> in this range. Confirm against your old part before ordering. The rubber compound in these mounts degrades gradually through heat cycling and oil contamination, eventually losing its ability to absorb the vibration generated by the <strong>two-stroke engine<\/strong> and <strong>cutting chain<\/strong>. A collapsed or cracked mount allows vibration to pass directly through the chassis at that fixing point.
