HECHT 9245 Hedge Trimmer Air Filter

The Gasket Genius air filter fits Hecht 9245 hedge trimmers. On a hedge trimmer, the air filter sits between the outside air intake and the carburettor, keeping out dust, leaf debris and clippings thrown up during cutting while letting clean air through for combustion. As the filter media clogs with use, airflow into the carburettor is restricted, pulling the fuel-air mixture rich and leading to reduced power, rough running, higher fuel consumption or hard starting. Fitting a new air filter restores correct airflow to the carburettor, letting the engine draw the correct air-fuel ratio again.
