Shaft connector / joining clamp — 26mm, 9 spline suitable for many 5-in-1 multitools, strimmers, trimmers and brushcutters. The shaft connector is the clamped coupling that joins two sections of the drive shaft tube together, maintaining axial alignment and a secure mechanical connection between the powerhead and the cutting attachment. When the connector is cracked, stripped or the clamping mechanism fails, the shaft sections can separate or become misaligned during operation, resulting in vibration, loss of drive or complete detachment of the cutting attachment.
