Anti-vibration (AV) spring no. 2 fits 3800 Chinese chainsaws with 38cc engines, including Komatsu Zenoah, Sumo, B&Q, Draper, Sovereign, Powerplus, Sanli, Woodfield and Trueshopping Raptor. The 3800 uses multiple AV springs of different profiles at separate fixing points between the power head and the handle frame this is the no. 2 variant, different in shape and size to the no. 1 spring used on the same saws. Confirm against your old part before ordering. When this spring snaps or loses tension, that fixing point no longer absorbs its share of the vibration load, resulting in a noticeable increase in handle vibration. Fitting a replacement restores balanced damping across the full AV system.
